Our Legacy
Pearly Gate Court No. 98 Heroines of Jericho Prince Hall Affiliation was chartered July 17, 1906. With God on their side, these ladies worked to establish and build our court to a membership of about 600 members by 1929. They raised money, helped finance construction of new lodges, and supported their neighbors in the 5th Ward Community. We are determined to continue the legacy.

Our mission is to empower women through faith, service, leadership, and sisterhood while making a positive impact in our communities.
Our Impact
Since our inception in 1906, our organization has impacted the lives of thousands of women and children through our various programs. We have fed the hungry, helped the homeless and provided scholarships to those in need. We are proud of the positive impact we continue to make in Houston, Texas.

We are accepting applications for our She’s Ready: GED Ready Scholarship to help young women pay for their GED Ready test. by eliminating this financial barrier, it moves them one step closer to earning their high school equivalency diploma.
